PROJECT CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
Duties & responsibilities:
* Identifies the Project requirements and constraints
* Takes part in the Project planning and scheduling in particular for the Construction/commissioning sequence.
* Prepares the General and Executive Construction Plans, defining the construction procedures, logistics, scheduling of activities, tools and methods of monitoring and control
* Ensures the implementation of the computer systems for the management and control of site activities
* Takes part to the Constructability meetings, ensuring the Constructability is thoroughly applied and implemented at all phases of the Project.
* Attends at the Project Review meetings, making sure that the Construction requirements have been duly complied with the requirements
* Takes part in the preparation, for his field of expertise, of the HSE Plan.
* Ensures the issue of the HSE Manual for Construction
* Issues the Purchase Requisitions (RdA) and Technical Evaluations falling within his field of competence
* Assesses the man-hours required for the Construction phase
HVAC ENGINEER (Building Services)
Duties & responsibilities
* Assist PRT with technical Commercial offers
* Review/Clarification/Qualifications of feed technical documentation
* Discussion with client/meetings/communications
* Responsible as HVAC representative
* Reviews Client’s technical documentation and requirements
* Controls of sub-contracted HVAC and other building services engineering documents
* Sets up and executes assigned engineering activities such as detail design, verification and studies relevant to any engineering topic associated to Discipline, coordination with other disciplines requirements and inputs in pursuing objectives of sound engineering and design optimisation in term of costs, fabrication simplicity and safety.
* Prepares design specifications for Heat, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems, and coordinates the design for other buildings services systems such as electrical, telecommunications, fire and gas detection, fire fighting inside buildings.
* Supervises/Approves HVAC and building services design and constructive drawings
* Implements discipline follow-up and assist field engineering activities.
* Assistance with QC inspection activities notably fats and string tests
* Issues the part of the REX in accordance with the scope of piping material section after contract completion
* Collect project feed backs for continuous improvement implementation
PIPING DESIGNER
Duties & responsibilities
* Designs, executes or checks the typical Piping and Layout studies including:
* 3D design and model review with other disciplines and issue of clash check report
* construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics piping supports) bill of materials or material take off,
* extraction of bill of materials and other information from the 3D CAD model
* Organizes the work of his team and follow-up the planning of the resources mobilisation
* Co-ordinates the work of his team with the Piping and Layout engineers of the project.
* Checks the input data and all the documents and information issued by his team
* Checks permanently that all the assumptions upon which is based his team work keep up with the project development and warn the project Piping and Layout Lead of any detected anomaly.
* Supervises the update of the documents after comments issued by other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders (Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.)
* Feeds the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project.
* Material Management at site
* Engineering support during construction phase
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Duties & responsibilities
* Perform technical tasks assigned by the Electrical Leader, related with design, verification or study activities
* Interface with other Project Specialists, Designers and Vendors Specialist. Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the company.
* Provides technical assistance to commercial activities
* Review of Client’s technical documentation and requirements
* Review electrical system basic design review
* Prepares materials for cost estimation
* Prepares bill of quantities for erection works estimate
* Support Lead to define man hours cost estimate.
CIVIL CO- ORDINATOR DESIGNER
Duties & responsibilities
* Sets up and executes assigned activities related to production of drawings and assessment of quantities
* Implements sketches for studies and pre-design of civil works, pursuing objectives of sound design practice and optimizes in term of costs, fabrication simplicity and safety.
* Prepare MTOs and BOQs
* Controls civil deliverables issued by civil draftsman and designers or
* Sub contractor inside or outside the Company
* Ensures the production of assigned deliverables in accordance with Project requirements, within established milestone
* Highlights interface constraints and requirements with other Disciplines
* Reviews Client’s Project deliverables
* Maintains and updates documentation lists
* Co-ordinates drafting activities developed outside the Company
DRAFTSMAN (Offshore Methods Draftsman)
Duties & responsibilities
* To draft engineering drawings, manage commissioned draftsmen and organize the drawing archive for the order
* Report to the Senior Draftsman or directly to Method Engineer and/or Project Engineer
* Perform the drafting of the assigned activities
* Ensure that the reviews shown in the drawings confirm the feasibility of the technology show
* In the construction and fabrication drawings, perform the MTO list
* Archive the drawings as requested by the project either format and in IT format
* According to the seniority co-ordinate a group of draftsman and perform initial part of method engineering
